Blockchain Insight 2019
4th January, “Blockchain Insight 2019” was jointly convened by TokenInsight and 8BTC in Hangzhou, China. A total of seven awards in 4 categories were granted to 81 outstanding projects and teams.
Blockchain Insight is an event dedicated to the discovery of high-quality projects and providing value through broad data dispersion. Blockchain Insight seeks to represent the status quo as it exists at the grass roots level and shine a light on appropriate strategies for blockchain practitioners to navigate difficult terrain during these turbulent times.
Rankings derived from open-source data
Ranking criteria and results are all derived from objective data sources, including on-and off-chain data, public sentiment data and general data accumulated from the TI Dashboard — TokenInsight’s automatic monitoring system. In addition, TokenInsight and 8BTC have built a multi-dimensional evaluation model, ensuring that carefully sourced objective data is the primary basis for rankings.
The panel of judges at Blockchain Insight 2019 evaluated over 2000 globally distributed projects through 50 dimensions. 81 projects and teams stood out, covering 7 categories including DApp platforms, exchanges, wallets, mining pools, investors, blockchain applications and teams. These projects and teams are great examples of the current level of sophistication and development in the blockchain ecosystem as it stands today.
The panel at Blockchain Insight 2019 has established a unique evaluation system, helping bring consensus to the value of blockchain-related activities. It represents an objective and authentic reference for investors, and assists regulatory authorities in setting up future industrial standards and effective regulation. In an effort to codify our sentiments and make explicit our approach, TokenInsight and 8BTC collaborated in the publication of an industry reference paper “Blockchain Industry Insight Whitepaper” which was distributed at our event.
