TokenInsight’s latest DApp rankings (21/02/2019): The best performing DApps for Ethereum, EOS and TRON.

Ethereum

Last week, 16 new Ethereum DApps were introduced to the market, the number of active users increased by 16%, and the transaction volume increased by 10% from the previous week.

There were many new Ethereum DApps launched last week. The Marketplace DApps were ranked top on the list, following by mostly Gambling and Gaming DApps. As a new member on the ranking list, the new Social DApp named Status has had a significant increase in the number of active users and user operations in one day due to its “Sticker Market” activities.

EOS

Last week, there launched 7 new EOS DApps . The number of active users is equivalent to the previous period, and the transaction volume increased by 11%.

In the ranking, the DApps on the list is almost unchanged, only one DApp is replaced. After the Chinese Spring Festival, the transaction volume of EOS has rebounded, but the number of active users does not differ significantly. Users’ enthusiasm to novel game modes waned gradually as time goes by, and some Gambling DApps such as EOS Poker, FunCity came to a standstill due to the declining transaction volume. In addition, there were a Gambling DApp named Gameboy attacked by the hacker and a phishing Scatter plugin event last week.

TRON

Last week, 13 new TRON DApps were introduced to the market, the number of active users and transaction volumes were the same as the previous period.

Based on the ranking list, there is no huge difference on the TRON DApp list, only three DApps are replaced. Overall, the list is almost entirely composed of Gambling and Gaming DApps, only two Marketplace DApps named JOYSO on TRON and TRX Market are listed. This may indicate that the top DApps on the TRON platform are gradually stable.

List Explanation

  1. This list is derived from TokenInsight’s DApp Influencer Model which computes contract security, open source metrics and on-chain DApp activity
  2. The evaluation dimensions for each platform are the same, but the standards vary among different platforms.
