Tokeninsight held first hot-topic event about the Future of China’s blockchain Industry
In contrast to China’s Economic Slowdown, its blockchain Industry is on the rise as new Chinese Blockchain startups seek opportunities overseas — with success!
The last weekend on the 20th of April TokenInsight, together with global startup community AngelHack and China’s leading internet and tech news outlets TechNode, gathered together to talk about The Future of China’s blockchain Industry and How Chinese blockchain startups can expand into the overseas market in there first joint networking event.
Over 50 guests from China’s top blockchain projects, crypto media, and global PR talents joined the event and listened to the talks. Big names in the industry answered panel questions asked by the moderator of the event, Jonas Wolf, who also is the AngelHack China Director!
The Event panel questions were mainly related to Blockchain-topics and Social Communities in relation to Chinese Blockchain StartUps, focusing on the difference between Chinese and international social media channels. Tokeninsight’s Matt Hu talked about the perception gap between Chinese and western audience saying Blockchain by nature is globalizable. Quality blockchain projects all have global communities. However, given the fact that the industry is still in the introductory stage of its life cycle and requires a set of skills and knowledge not easily attained, it is often the case that there is a perception gap between China and Western audience towards blockchain content.
Matt from TokenInsight, along with Wei Wang from OceanEx Official, Calvin Jiang from ContentBox, Bowen Wang from DDEX, and John Artman from TechNode, shared their insights into the role of global social media channels in international branding. Blockchain branding has often been relegated to an afterthought. What matters for blockchain-based branding is to align the ever-changing technology with the continual growth of new market demand; and deliver it to the right audience.
